鹿児島もこの時期は部活生活の最後の大会であることも多いせいか、アスリートの来院が多いです。
菜の花マラソンなど、他にも鹿児島のマラソン系の大きな大会の時期や、今のように部活の試合が重なる時期は毎年学生さんおアスリートが多いですね。
スポーツでの転倒や他者との激しい接触、打撲などによるケガは、スポーツ外傷とされています。
それに対して長期間にわたって同じスポーツを続練習する事により、体の特定の部位に負担がかかり続ける事によって起こるのをスポーツ障害と分類できます。
単純にスポーツの練習等による使いすぎが主な原因と言えます。骨折は当院の範囲外ですが、捻挫、打撲、肉離れ（部分断裂）の運動障害は多くの臨床実績があります。
炎症が強いなどの理由で患部を触れない場合は、遠隔部位からの施術で患部へとアプローチが出来ます。それが、一般的にはテーピングで固定するくらいしか選択肢が無い場合でも、プラスアルファの補助手段にもなりえます。
スポーツ時の強い打撲や接触で、骨格はゆがむ事は大いに考えられています。スポーツ選手ではとくに、打撲などによる骨格の歪みは起こりえます。それが関節の可動域（動く範囲）や動きやすさに悪い影響を与えます。
そして、さらに凝りが生じて姿勢も悪くなる遠因にもなってきます。
歪みが多いとアスリートは動きにしなやかさが無くなっていき、怪我もしやすくなりますので、少しずつ悪循環のサイクルが始まります。もちろん、上記のような骨に限った説明だけの単純な話だけではなく、筋・骨格などの体重支持系 、内臓や内臓周囲膜・神経・脳脊髄液の還流もそれなりに影響はあります。
完全に脱臼などした場合はすぐに整形外科へ行かれるのをおすすめします。
